About LuBan

LuBan is next-generation, generative CAD/CAM software that helps designers and makers in rapid production of their creations. LuBan automatically generates 3D models in various forms, such as lithophane, stack, hash, plate, relief, module, and wireframe. The generated model can be fabricated by 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling. All features you can find in News section.

Wave

Lithophane

Turn any 2D photo into a 3D printed photo with a frame.

Hash

Turn a 3D mesh into normally interlocked 2D contours. Slots are generated to enable assembly.

Pillar

Turn a 3D mesh into a stack of 2D Pillars, which can be laser cut or 3D printed.

Contour

Turn a 3D mesh into a set of 2D contours, which can be laser engraved on transparent sheets, giving a 3D perspective effect.

Plate

Turn a 3D mesh into interlocked flat panels. Finger joints are generated on the edge of the panels to enable assembly.

Stack

Turn a 3D mesh into a stack of 2D contours, which can be laser cut or 3D printed. Dowels are generated on the contours to facilitate assembly.

Module

Segment a 3D mesh into modules to enable 3D printing of big objects on small printers. Connectors are generated to facilitate assembly.

Relief

Turn a 3D mesh into a relief that can be fabricated by 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser engraving.
